Over twenty years of extensive experience in systems Architecture and infrastructure technologies with geographical exposure spanning across multiple industries. My strengths include solving complex business challenges and strategically aligning with appropriate systems architecture with smart investments and resources while following best practices. Passionate about delivering good business value by creating the vision, setting the strategy, gaining consensus of stakeholders, building a team when necessary and delivering projects on-time, on-budget, and within scope.

To compliment my twenty years of IT Experience I have an MCSE 2000, an MCP in Exchange 2000, MCSE & Exchange 2003 certified upgrade training. My formal non-Microsoft training includes Citrix CCA and Cisco CCNA\CCDA. For management experience in addition to managing my own business I have twice held the title of Director of IT. I have PMP training at both Villanovau University and  Duende PMP bootcamp class credits for PMI certification with the exam scheduled for late April '08. In the 2002/2003 tough economy where the IT Job market adjusted itself, I championed and provided classroom space for a group called “Between Jobs IT Pros Training Each Other” and organized a training class for a group of unemployed workers in a “get back to work with certifications” program.

Some significant accomplishments include:

  • Major Operating Center Construction - Accountable for delivering all technology to new buildings in remote sites with capabilities ranging from IP telephony, Data Center design, 2 way radios, Cabling infrastructure, LAN, WAN, Network topology to compensate for multiple security layers, and an AV collaboration infrastructure.
     
  • Created an infrastructure model that spanned geographic locations and improved resource management and project results. Distributed team model provided consistent focus and results while improving team processes and fostering a common team vision.
     
  • Proposed and proved a web based development model which showed an $8 million savings across an existing 5 year growth plan and a $45 million capital budget.
     
  • Reduced high severity outages by 99% at one client, freeing resources for strategic projects. I’ve reduced high severity outages at every client I’ve deployed AD and Exchange for.
     
  • Through the pioneering of IP telephony and leading edge cable modeling I saved my client $250,000 in installation costs and approximately $50,000 a year in phone bills and maintenance on a sliding scale to up to $250,000 a year in a 5 year growth path.
